The uprights are light weight. Their size is smaller than the standard uprights, smaller bearings are required.
The steering arm is fixed with only one bolt as it fits as a puzzle in the upright. Technically the geometry is changed as the points for mounting onto the upper and lower wishbone are shifted by 3mm from each other, this improves the steering of your car.
