Due to the noise level of the well known model cars scale 1/5 and 1/6 with combustion engine their use is restricted or even forbidden at many places. Also the handling of combustion engines is not to everybody's taste. Nevertheless are model cars big scale still very impressive and attractive through their size and driving dynamics.

The EP-1 Chassis has been especially developed for an electric drive. Due to this new construction special attention has been paid onto several features specific for electric vehicles. The small double chassis construction is made of alloy and therefore very light, stable and resistant.

Due to the very low position of the battery packs as well as the electric motor a low center of gravity is achieved what influences the driving behavior of the EP-1 Chassis very positively. Also the transmission has been specially designed for the electric motors. The second stage of the power transmission to the differential is realized through belt drive and therefore very efficient and silent.

The H.A.R.M. brushless electric motors are conceived for 16 cells and facilitates above-average acceleration values of the chassis. Also the controller with reverse gear has been especially made for chassis large scale with electric drive.

The EP-1 is more than just an alternative to the existing model cars large scale with combustion motor and will convince beginners as well as rc-car experts with regard to power, driving behavior and visual effect.
